Systems Administrator- Infrastructure and Sustainment

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator Level 2 to provide infrastructure and sustainment support for mission-critical IT systems in a secure environment.
This position will support the implementation, administration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments. The ideal candidate has a strong systems administration background and is comfortable troubleshooting complex technical issues across client, server, storage, network, and related infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement, troubleshoot, maintain, and administer enterprise IT systems.
- Manage IT system infrastructure and related operational processes.
- Support day-to-day system operations, monitoring, maintenance, and problem resolution.
- Provide support for client, server, storage, network, and mobile device environments.
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting of complex IT system issues.
- Provide Tier 1 Help Desk support and Tier 2 escalation support as required.
- Analyze escalated tickets and provide detailed technical feedback and recommendations.
- Communicate system status, incidents, and technical issues to management and internal customers.
- Support dispatch-system and hardware issues through resolution.
- Configure and administer Linux, Unix, Windows, and other applicable operating systems.
- Install operating system software and perform system configuration and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot operating system issues and maintain overall system integrity.
- Configure network components to improve system reliability and performance.
- Implement operating system enhancements and improvements.
- Support system monitoring, escalation procedures, user support, and capacity planning.
- Identify opportunities to improve system availability, reliability, and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of System Administrator experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Five additional years of System Administrator experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise IT systems.
- Experience working with Linux, Unix, Windows, or similar operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skills.
- Experience supporting client/server infrastructure and enterprise system operations.
- Ability to analyze and resolve escalated technical issues.
- Experience with system monitoring, maintenance, and performance improvement.
Clearance Requirement
An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position.
