Position Overview:

We are seeking a Systems Engineer Level 2 with a strong DevOps and systems administration (SA) background to support mission-critical infrastructure in a secure environment. The role involves maintaining, automating, and optimizing systems using modern DevOps tools and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting similar programs and contracts of comparable scope and complexity.

Required Qualifications:

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Systems Engineer (SE) on programs of similar size, scope, and complexity

• Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university

  • An additional five (5) years of SE experience may be substituted for the degree requirement

Required Skills:
• Strong grasp of Kubernetes networking, configuration, and deployment across secure environments
• Proven ability to support compliance-driven sustainment activities with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent collaboration skills with both technical team members and mission stakeholders
• Solid documentation and tracking skills using enterprise tools
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving security and mission needs

Desired Qualifications
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible
• Familiarity with Rancher, Helm, and advanced Kubernetes features
• Working knowledge of observability tools like Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Grafana
• Security+ (CWIP) or equivalent certification preferred
