Position Overview
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Office Manager – Finance & Operations to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a small, collaborative environment and enjoys balancing financial administration with office operations.
The position primarily focuses on bookkeeping, payroll support, financial tracking, and general administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, adaptable, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a dynamic office setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain and track company financial records and transactions.
• Process payroll and maintain payroll-related documentation.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Track incoming revenue and outgoing expenses.
• Assist with budgeting and financial reporting.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.
• Oversee daily office operations and workflow management.
• Provide administrative support to leadership and staff.
• Answer and route incoming calls as needed.
• Coordinate office supplies, equipment, vendors, travel arrangements, and expense reimbursements.
• Serve as a backup resource for general office functions during staff absences.
• Foster a collaborative and positive office culture.
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of office management, bookkeeping, finance, or administrative experience.
• Experience processing payroll and managing financial records.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with bookkeeping or accounting software preferred; QuickBooks experience strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance processes is helpful.
• Prior experience supporting executives or leadership teams is preferred.
