Job Title: Technical Recruiter (Cleared Talent) – 1099 Contract
Location: 100% Remote
Compensation: $20-25/hour (1099)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support our growing client base by identifying and placing cleared talent across a variety of technical roles. This is a fully remote, contract (1099) opportunity ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently and thrives in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Source, engage, and recruit candidates with active security clearances (Secret, TS/SCI, TS/SCI with Poly)
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand client requirements and hiring priorities
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through offer stage
- Build and maintain strong pipelines of cleared technical professionals
- Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn, clearance-focused job boards, and internal databases
- Conduct candidate screenings and assess technical qualifications and clearance status
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience recruiting candidates with active U.S. security clearances
- Strong understanding of cleared recruiting processes and compliance considerations
- Experience recruiting for technical roles (e.g., software engineers, data engineers, systems engineers, etc.)
- Ability to work independently in a remote, contract environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience using ATS and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, etc.)
