An opportunity is available for a System Administrator/Integrator to support patching, system security compliance, and integration of analytic and visualization tools within secure environments. This position involves working closely with cybersecurity teams to maintain system integrity and compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards, while also configuring and managing enterprise analytics infrastructure.
Apply IAVA/IAVM security patches to Windows and Linux systems in a timely and controlled manner
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to identify and implement patches for discovered vulnerabilities
Ensure systems meet required security and compliance standards (e.g., STIGs, DISA requirements)
Troubleshoot patching and integration issues, coordinating with stakeholders for resolution
Track and report patch compliance metrics for internal and external audits
Respond to security findings from vulnerability scans (e.g., ACAS, Nessus)
Administer, patch, and test Tableau and PowerBI servers
Configure tools for secure access (e.g., SSL/TLS, PKI single sign-on)
Integrate analytic tools with SAP HANA and other data environments
Perform load testing, capacity planning, and performance tuning for visualization tools
Troubleshoot tool-related issues in coordination with vendors (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft)
Evaluate, plan, and execute security patching across multiple environments
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
Strong understanding of DoD IAVA/IAVM compliance and patching processes
Familiarity with STIGs, vulnerability scanners, and compliance reporting
Experience with patch management tools such as WSUS, SCCM, Ansible, or Red Hat Satellite
Scripting experience in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation
Strong documentation skills and ability to meet deadlines
Proficient in troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving
Understanding of Tableau, PowerBI, COGNOS, or other business intelligence tools
Familiarity with JDBC/ODBC/MDX and relational database access methods
Experience using Python, R, or Jupyter Notebooks for data analysis
Hands-on experience with enterprise-scale relational databases (SAP HANA preferred)
Working knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration
Experience configuring Active Directory, SAML, SSL/TLS, and PKI authentication
Background administering operational software systems in a secure environment
Relevant professional certifications in system administration, cybersecurity, or related domains (e.g., Security+, Linux+, AWS, Microsoft, etc.)
