A mission-driven team is seeking a Full Stack Developer to support software development efforts for United States Space Force (USSF) units. In this role, you will help design, develop, and field data-centric tools that automate mission workflows, enhance decision-making, and provide actionable operational insights. Developers will work closely with analysts and operational end-users to iterate and deploy functional software solutions on classified networks.
Collaborate with analysts and product leads to identify operational needs and implement scalable data solutions
Build and optimize data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming external data sources
Develop and maintain cloud-native web applications in secure, classified environments
Ensure reliability, efficiency, and minimal human intervention across data pipelines
Validate data and enforce typing using modern tools and libraries
Contribute to analytics and machine learning efforts as needed
Translate user feedback into iterative software improvements
Troubleshoot, debug, and refine applications across the full technology stack
Maintain open communication across interdisciplinary teams to meet technical objectives
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
2+ years of professional experience in software development
Active TS/SCI clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
Proficiency in Python and JavaScript
Experience with cloud-native web applications on classified or secure networks
Familiarity with Python validation/typing tools such as Pydantic or PyRight
Experience with Python API frameworks: FastAPI, Starlette, Sanic
Familiarity with web server frameworks: Hypercorn, Uvicorn, Tornado
Proficiency in frontend JavaScript frameworks: Vue, React, or Angular
Ability to work with structured and unstructured datasets
Experience with package managers such as pip or npm
Knowledge of Docker and container registry tools like Harbor
Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or intelligence community software environments
Familiarity with data visualization, ML pipelines, or DevSecOps workflows
Understanding of CI/CD tools and automated testing in secure environments
