About the Role

Our client is seeking experienced Network Engineers to support the U.S. Government in mission-critical environments. In this role, you’ll join a high-performance team that supports national security initiatives by evaluating vulnerabilities, recreating attack vectors, and delivering expert network engineering solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with other Network Engineers and SMEs to assess vulnerabilities and simulate attack vectors

  • Provide technical recommendations to improve system and network security posture

  • Work directly with the customer and be fully integrated into mission teams

  • Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, switches, and firewalls

  • Analyze and respond to cyber/IT issues with high attention to detail

  • Communicate findings and solutions effectively, both verbally and in writing


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6–12 years of related experience

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph

  • Active DoD IAT Level III certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, GCIH, GCED, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA)

  • Active Cisco certification (CCNA or CCNP)


Technical Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and PAN-OS

  • Proven ability to configure, optimize, and troubleshoot network hardware

  • Understanding of network architectures, routing protocols, and security controls

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently

  • Clear, concise communication skills for problem-solving and reporting
