We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Security Researcher to join a specialized team conducting advanced security research on Windows technologies. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in vulnerability research, a deep understanding of the Windows kernel and device drivers, and the ability to write proof-of-concept code in C, Python, and Assembly. This role requires strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with both researchers and developers to identify and demonstrate vulnerabilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, or a related field AND six (6) years of experience
OR ten (10) years of relevant experience without a degree
Minimum eight (8) years of experience programming with object-oriented languages
Minimum five (5) years developing either:
Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET, OR
UNIX applications using make files or similar build environments
Minimum three (3) years of experience leading complex software development projects, including configuration management and fostering a collaborative development environment
Strong understanding of Windows kernel and device drivers
Experience reading and writing assembly (x86/x64)
Extensive experience with debuggers such as WinDBG
Strong programming skills in C, Python, and Assembly
Proven experience collaborating closely with researchers and software developers
Work on cutting-edge vulnerability research supporting national security missions
