Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Wildlife Repair Technician to join our growing team in Grand Rapids! In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for removing and excluding unwanted animals, repairing structural damage, and implementing preventative measures. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in construction, handyman work, or general labor who enjoy working outdoors and solving challenges.

Key Responsibilities

Perform wildlife exclusion and removal services based on customer work orders.
Conduct structural repairs and install preventative solutions to prevent future wildlife intrusion.
Inspect work sites to ensure quality and completion of all tasks.
Maintain a safe and organized job site, following safety protocols.
Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
Assist in the training and mentorship of junior technicians.
Deliver excellent customer service and address client concerns.
Keep accurate records and ensure vehicles are clean and stocked with necessary supplies.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of construction, handyman, or general labor experience.
Proficiency with tools like drills, saws, and caulk guns.
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Valid driver's license with a clean record.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test (including marijuana screening).
Willingness to travel locally and occasionally out-of-state with overnight stays.

Physical Requirements

Ability to bend, kneel, crawl, and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working on ladders and roofs for prolonged durations.
Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and wildlife.
