Job Title: Certified Wildlife Specialist - Sales
Job Type: Full-time, Commission + Salary (Exempt)
Compensation: $36,000 + Commission to start (Earning potential of $70,000-$80,000+ first year)
Work Location: On the road (Local travel required)- Lansing area

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed (Overtime if required)
Reports To: Sales Manager


**Job Summary:**Leads are generated for you—no cold calling required! This role allows you to focus on consulting with customers and providing expert solutions.
Are you passionate about wildlife and skilled in sales? We are looking for a Certified Wildlife Specialist - Sales to inspect and diagnose animal problems in prospective customers' homes. Your goal will be to provide comprehensive plans to remove existing wildlife and prevent future entry. This role requires a mix of hands-on inspection, customer interaction, and sales strategy to deliver effective wildlife management solutions.

Essential Job Functions:
Sales & Inspections:- Work with pre-qualified leads; no need for cold calling.
  • Identify nuisance wildlife and pests at customer sites and develop tailored control strategies.
  • Conduct thorough home inspections, including roofs and attics.
  • Capture and document photos of entry points using the ServiceBridge platform.
  • Present findings, solutions, and pricing to potential customers.
  • Maintain detailed notes in ServiceBridge for seamless communication between departments.
  • Collect deposits and final payments.
  • Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment safely.
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions regularly.
Customer Service:
  • Collaborate with customers to assess their needs and recommend effective solutions.
  • Address questions and concerns professionally.
  • Provide superior wildlife and pest management services.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Required:
  • Physical stamina to work in challenging environments.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work on ladders, roofs, attics, and crawl spaces.
  • Comfortable handling wildlife as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Preferred:
  • Prior experience in B2C sales.
  • Basic construction knowledge.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses/certifications.

Work Environment:
  • Exposure to environmental elements (heat, cold, rain, etc.).
  • Working from heights and ladders.
  • Long periods of driving and standing.
  • Bending, kneeling, and crawling in confined spaces.
  • Handling pesticides (protective equipment provided).

Travel:
  • Local travel required.
