Develop efficient layouts using nesting software to optimize yield.

SPECIFIC DUTIES
 

• Reviews jobs to determine the burning requirements        

• Coordinates with Production / Inventory control to assure that raw material is available to cut scheduled jobs
• Ensures nests created are appropriate and can be accomplished
• Ensures raw material being used has been consigned for specific job
• Coordinates with Engineering to resolve any problems found in the drawings
• Checks drawings for errors in templates and call outs. 
• Uses the computer tools available create nesting programs
• Completes required job paperwork and job transaction reporting in ERP system

SKILL REQUIREMENTS
 

• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be able to use computer to keep track of raw material inventories and program nesting for burn programming

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
 

• Standing/sitting all day, occasional lifting.
• Lifts up to 25-50 lbs.
